Find a Retreat Near You

  • CfR retreats are provided at no cost to the participants, except for travel to and from the retreat location. Ridesharing is organized for those who need travel assistance.

  • Women are selected to attend retreats via a random lottery.

  • Meals, lodging and equipment are provided while attending a retreat.

  • No fishing experience necessary!

Who May Apply

  • Any woman who has received a breast cancer diagnosis (any stage of treatment or recovery) may apply.

  • At this time retreats may only be attended once so we may serve as many women as possible.

  • Casting for Recovery strives to reduce barriers to access. We will do our best to accommodate any special needs you might have including diet, mobility issues, etc.

  • Alongside our retreats available to women of all ages and stages, Casting for Recovery also offers specialized programs exclusively for women with Stage IV (metastatic) breast cancer in Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Nebraska, and Texas.

Where a woman can apply:

You are eligible to apply to the retreat that is closest to where you live (which may be in another state), and only one application for 2025 (unless otherwise noted). If you missed the application deadline for that retreat, or if your schedule is not compatible with that of the retreat you are eligible to apply to, we encourage you to apply again next year.

Selections: The random selections are typically made within ten days of the application deadline, and all women are notified of their status. The deadline to apply for each retreat can be found on its application.

Our Retreats

Please select the retreat that is geographically closest to you.

* Please check the application for eligibility notes and additional instructions specific to that retreat.
