Free Retreats for Women living with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer

A place to exhale. A place to belong.

Casting for Recovery offers specialized fly-fishing retreats for women living with metastatic breast cancer. These retreats are thoughtfully designed to meet women where they are, creating space for rest, connection, and moments of calm without expectations or pressure.

In 2026, we will host six metastatic-specific retreats across the country. Each retreat is free to attend and includes expert medical support, professional fly-fishing instruction, and the healing power of time spent in nature alongside women who understand this journey.

You do not need fly-fishing experience. You just need to show up as you are.g

Metastatic retreats are hosted by select Casting for Recovery programs and are open to women living within those states. Women who do not attend a metastatic-specific retreat are encouraged to apply to their local Casting for Recovery program, which serves women of all ages and stages.

  • On-site oncology medical professionals familiar with metastatic care
  • Gentle movement, adaptive fishing options, and personalized pacing
