Since 1996 Casting for Recovery has provided women with breast cancer the opportunity to find inspiration, discover a renewed energy for life and experience healing connections. To date we have served over 10,000 women! Sadly, for each woman we serve at CfR, we are turning 3 women away. Women in the US face a one-in-eight lifetime risk of developing breast cancer. 250,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the United States alone and 2.3 million women in the US are living with breast cancer.
