Sisters on the Fly
We’re shedding some light on the coolest lamp in Bozeman, gifted many years ago to the Casting for Recovery organization by the nationwide nonprofit, Sisters on the Fly.
This one of a kind fun lamp started out in the Vermont national office with our Executive Directors, from there it has traveled cross country, stopping along the way for other CfR employees to enjoy. Long journey short, spending time in states such as Montana, Colorado and Texas— each and every department here at CfR has had the privilege of owning this gem at some point and time. We all enjoy using the phrase, “If this lamp could talk, the stories she’d tell.”
Recently (and enthusiastically may we add), the Accounting Department packaged the lamp up and gifted it to our new CEO, Faye Nelson. The images captured clearly show her level of excitement. Faye immediately plugged it in and has been putting it to good use.
While the lamp is unique and clearly coveted by all of us here at Casting for Recovery, so is our love and appreciation for Sisters on the Fly. The Sisters have been longtime supporters of the CfR mission and purpose on both national and regional levels. This nationwide group (with over 13k members!) is generous, adventurous, brave, authentic and fun with a mission of “offering empowerment and sisterhood through exceptional outdoor adventures.” As their saying goes, “we have more fun than anyone” – it rings beyond true.
