Bobo’s + CfR

 In Blog

Bobo’s Oat Bars were first baked on a rainy day in Boulder, Colorado back in 2003. Bobo and her mother, Beryl, mixed four staple kitchen ingredients together to create a healthy, on-the-go snack. The oat bar became a family favorite and Bobo began baking bars for her friends and classmates to enjoy. Soon, this natural, delicious snack became a business.

Today Bobo’s has continued to bake the same oat bar with the same simple recipe using the same four wholesome ingredients (100% organic whole grain oats, organic coconut oil, organic whole cane sugar and brown rice syrup). With 160 employees, the oat bar is still made by hand and with tons of love in Boulder.

Casting for Recovery is proud to partner with Bobo’s for both the 2018 and 2019 season! Thousands of Bobo’s Oat Bars and bites are donated to CfR. Each retreat receives them to help keep our participants nourished and fueled out on the water. These snacks are perfect in every way (gluten free and vegan friendly) and nestle easily into a wader pocket.
