Fearless Fly Fishing
We’re beyond stoked to welcome Cynthia Harkness to the Casting for Recovery Program Coordinator lineup with a CfR Massachusetts retreat launch in 2020. She’s more than ready (read below):
I always dreamed I could fly. When I started fly fishing 10 years ago, that dream came true. But leading up to that, I had an incredibly full utterly different life! Wall Street Trader, wife and mom of two young men (maybe they are adults now at 18 and 20…). But when I decided to enter into a retail job, and I had access to rods, I jumped in the water. Now I am fly fishing and teaching as a career. My business, Fearless Fly Fishing, came about as a result of believing that if you have no fear you have no limits. My goals are to:Catch fish.
Catch fish.
Catch bigger fish.
Catch different kinds of fish.
Give back.
My role as Program Coordinator for CfR is a result of all the great influencers and educators and role models who have shared their knowledge and passion for the sport of fly fishing. It is in response to all the driving and walking and dinner sharing that I have done with my girlfriend who have survived and are still surviving breast cancer. It is in response to my belief that when you expect nothing, and appreciate everything, good things happen. I look forward to making the Massachusetts Program Retreat in 2020 to be memorable for all the volunteers and participants that join!
