Wahoo, Casting for Recovery is honored to be nominated for a SHIFT award!

The Center for Jackson Hole, a nonprofit whose mission is to strengthen the coalition of interests devoted to our public lands, hosts an annual festival, SHIFT (Shaping How we Invest For Tomorrow). This year festival is focused on Outdoor RX and the connection between time spent outside and our health. And the awards recognize individuals, initiatives, or organizations that make innovative, impactful and replicable contributions to conservation through human-powered outdoor recreation.

The SHIFT festival will take place October 16 – 18 in Jackson Hole, WY. It’s an action packed event with several educational seminars, panels and clinics. Our Executive Director, Whitney will be participating in a panel the first afternoon “SHIFT for the Planet” you can learn more about it here. And Marketing Director, Lise will be helping out with a session on Thursday “Thriving with Cancer in Nature” learn more here.
