New Apparel Partnership: CfR x Glow Workwear

 In Blog

Casting for Recovery is excited to announce our latest apparel partnership with Glow Workwear, a small woman-owned business located in Laramie, Wyoming. Emily Parsons, founder and CEO of Glow Workwear, started the company in 2020, born from the realization that all bodies are different, people are doing amazing things, and there has to be a better solution for women who want to feel good and look good when spending time outside for work and play.

Emily and Her Family.

“I spend a lot of time outdoors. My activities, recreation, and work have largely taken place outside and it occurred to me that I was constantly annoyed at the design of my unisex work pants. This idea really stuck with me that it could be so much better, and I felt like I could be a part of that solution,” Emily explains as she thinks back to where it all began. “When you want to enjoy your time outside, all of us can appreciate that we want to like the way we look! We want to enjoy our time with friends and family and feel good aboutourselves. All bodies are different, and we really embrace that here at Glow Workwear.”

Emily and her team subscribe to the mentality that all bodies are good bodies, which is why they are working on designs that fit the most people with size inclusive pieces. “This business has helped me see that women’s waist, butt, hips, and thighs come in different proportions AND ‘bodies be changing!’ Women’s bodies are made to fluctuate, so we can design for that instead of women feeling like they’re abnormal for having a bigger waist or smaller waist depending on the time of the month or the time of the year or their season of life!”

Here at Casting for Recovery, we value Glow Workwear’s passion for creating clothing that says “your body is welcome and celebrated in this space.” That’s why we’ve partnered together to provide a line of Casting for Recovery branded workwear for the women in our lives who want to feel good and look good no matter how they choose to recreate. For each piece of the CfR x Glow line sold, 25% will be donated back to Casting for Recovery where, together, we are enhancing the lives of women with breast cancer in a whole new way. As a company that emphasizes the journey of women who spend their time outside, Casting for Recovery is excited to explore that journey with Glow Workwear, putting a whole new spin on what it means to brave it together.

Shop Glow Workwear’s CfR line on their website and they’ll donate 25% of all branded apparel to Casting for Recovery!
