“In recognition of the daunting nature of our selected participants being asked to show up for a two and a half day retreat with complete and total strangers, our team together discussed ways to make “retreat entry” a little less intimidating. Each of us wrote a short “about me” paragraph including a small photo of ourselves and compiled a google doc to be shared with selected participants prior to their retreat. We also decided to up our hospitality game and designated several team members to be sure that no participant had to carry anything to her assigned retreat haven for the weekend and could ask questions or share concerns one on one. It was our desire to share our joy and enthusiasm for CfR. Our goal was for participants to be able to begin finding inspiration and experience healing connections from the moment they arrived.” – Margaret Bell
