Casting for Recovery + Pearls by Shari
Pearls have a legacy that can be worn by women all over the world from all walks of life. Pearls do not begin their journey beautifully. In fact, a pearl results from a harsh irritant entering an oyster, causing it pain and discomfort. Over months, if not years, that harsh irritant is coated again and again by layers of nacre produced by the oyster, and, eventually, a pearl is formed.
During the month of October, Pearls by Shari, is partnering up with Casting for Recovery to offer a pink Teton Mountaineering Bracelet. For each bracelet sold a $5.00 donation will be made to Casting for Recovery.
The Teton Mountaineering Bracelet is a union of Shari’s extensive design expertise and her love for the spirit and history of Jackson Hole. Created with the inspiration of the original Teton Mountaineering Equipment and infused with the natural simplicity of the pearls, it represents a unique piece of Jackson’s History. The Teton Mountain Range is a part of the Rocky Mountains. The five freshwater pearls on the bracelet actually represent the five major peaks of the Tetons, also known as the Cathedral Group. Their names are Grand Teton, Mount Owen, Teewinot, Middle Teton, and South Teton. Simply twist the memory wire design to fit your wrist size, and take your memories of the Tetons home with you, by styling one of Shari’s signature designs!
Pearls By Shari, keeps the legacy of the pearl in mind. Just as every beautiful pearl results from pain and discomfort, each person, formed by whatever he or she might encounter during the journey of life, is unique and beautiful.
