CFR Carolinas

Casting for Recovery-Carolinas hosts two retreats annually at Lake Logan Center, near Asheville, North Carolina, in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina.

The Lake Logan property, nestled between mountain ranges and bordered by Cold Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway, offers a large freshwater lake as well as a stretch of private freestone stream that is home to brown trout, rainbow trout, and our native brook trout.

In addition to experiencing our spectacular mountains and streams, participants at the Carolinas retreat get a taste of our local mountain music with a live performance by “All Strings Considered.” Please see our Facebook page for updates on all activities and programs.

CFR Carolinas will join the new CFR GA team at the 2012 FFF Conclave in Helen, GA on April 27 - 29. Stop by our booth to have a look at the beautiful 2012 Casting Bamboo for Recovery rod created by Charlie Downs.

Our TIE ONE ON FOR CFR Team Challenge Tournament was a great success. Special thanks to Kevin Howell and Davidson River Outfitters, Kate Wagenlander/KCW Global Connections, Rocky River Trout Unlimited, and all the great anglers who joined us for a great day of friendly competition to benefit CFR.
