CFR Minnesota/Wisconsin
The Minnesota/Wisconsin program of Casting for Recovery began in 2008 with a retreat at The Lodge at Crooked Lake in Siren, WI. We fish the Knapp Creek, which we stock full of trout each year. The Minnesota/Wisconsin program is looking to add a second retreat in the future to serve more women from both states and utilize the growing number of volunteers who wished to participate in the program.
Our program receives generous financial and volunteer support from the employees of The Hartford, the premier corporate sponsor for Casting for Recovery. Our medical and fishing staff are volunteers from our local medical community and fly-fishing clubs.
