CFR Colorado

The Colorado program of Casting for Recovery began in 2003 with two retreats. Due to the generosity of donors and volunteers, the program expanded to three annual retreats in 2005, the most of any CFR program in the country. To date, more than 300 women have attended one of the 23 Colorado retreats. The 2013 Colorado retreats will be held at the beautiful North Fork Ranch in Shawnee and hosted by ranch owners and long-time CFR supporters Dean and Karen May. Located an hour southwest of Denver, North Fork Ranch sits at an elevation of 8100 ft. and adjoins the Pike National Forest, Lost Creek Wilderness, and Mt. Evans Wilderness. The 520-acre ranch rests along a pristine stretch of the North Fork of the South Platte River, teeming with Rainbow, Brown, and Cutthroat Trout. Colorado CFR has future plans to establish a new retreat on the West Slope to better serve survivors living west of the Continental Divide.
